This is my first completed project using Tatting (a way of making lace). My mom and I recently learned this beautiful lost art and I am really enjoying it. These 3 Butterflies are not perfect but are an improvement. I mounted them on this towel and will now give it away at a RS service auction tonight. Next I think I will try tatting a maple leaf and put it on a towel too

Wow! My great grandmother used to do that! That is neat that you were able to learn and do it so well!
